After a video leak earlier today, GM has officially unveiled the brand new 2009 Pontiac Vibe ahead of its LA Auto Show debut.
Like Toyota with their Corolla Matrix, GM wants you to think that the Pontiac Vice is a crossover and not a station wagon.
The 2009 Pontiac Vibe packs more power than its predecessors with the base model getting a 1.8 liter DOHC 4-cylinder that produces 132 horsepower. Buyers may opt for the 2.4 liter DOHC engine that produces 158 horsepower. The 2.4 liter engine is stander on the all-wheel-drive GT model.
Fuel-economy for the 1.8 liter with automatic transmission is estimated at 25 in the city and 31 on the highway. The 2.4 liter GT is rated in at 21 mpg in the city and 27.
