Volvo Cars of North America and Sirius Satellite Radio have announced that Volvo will begin offering Sirius as a factory installed option this summer. Starting with the 2007 model year, Volvo plans to offer factory installed Sirius Satellite Radio on the following vehicle lines:

· Volvo S40

· Volvo V50

· Volvo C70

· All-New Volvo S80

"Sirius Satellite Radio is the perfect complement to Volvo’s respected audio systems featuring Dolby Pro Logic II Surround and Dynaudio. Volvo customers will enjoy depth and breadth of music, sports, news, and entertainment, as they have never experienced before in their vehicle. In keeping with Volvo’s commitment to safety, Sirius also features channels dedicated to weather and traffic updates every four minutes in the top twenty US markets, plus a weather and emergency channel," said Hans Krondahl, EVP, Marketing, Volvo Cars of North America.
